Today never study. Die, just like my bird. :;(

I am in the midst of my 'O' levels period and my lack of stress and rush and my utter complacency worries me a lot. Today, for the whole day, I never studied. And I have yet to even touch my Geography AND History! Mati, mampos, habis! How now? I had better really qiong during the remaining days I have, since I am very sure I screwed up my physics and more than possibly my entire science. So now I MUST bank on my History and my Combined Humanities.

At 1pm today I went to Marine Parade. I carried with me a backpack filled with Maths and Geography books (dunno for what) and, for reasons unknown, I decided to bring along my Hector of Troy sword. So I stuck it in my backpack with the hilt sticking out. Guess it makes me feel good to know that I intimidate people. ;P
I went to buy my birds' food then to Sembawang to pick up my order of the new Il Divo CD, 'Ancora'. Then I went to the libary to use the computer since mine does not have Adobe Acrobat. I want to buy some Phantom merchandise! They're gonna cost a fortune but it's worth it.
I went back to Parkway for no reason and then it started to rain, so I lingered about there until it came to a drizzle, then took a taxi home.

I listened to my new Il Divo CD and WOW! Plus there's one track with Celine Dione too! And listening on, I found that Il Divo is a super-talented band! They're handsome, they can sing, the can sing opera, they can speak English and Spanish, and now I find they can speak French too! Who knows how many more languages they can speak! WOW WOW WOW!

After maths tuition, I discovered that my budgie, Thermopylae (Ther-mo-pa-lee), had died. :'( NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! He was so lovable! Much less skittish compared to Salamis, and he had a nicer shade of blue. I should have known. He was already showing signs of weakness this morning, when he could not sit on the perch and was kind of weak. When he died, I found the usually-timid Salamis standing so close beside him. Looked like Salamis had been standing there for quite some time, and he was shaking and you could see that he was sad. They were so close, always grooming each other. Like brothers. I took the entire cage out into the garden and with Salamis present, I buried Thermopylae like I do all my other pets.
*sniff* This is just like the real history. The narrow pass of Thermopylae fell first to the Persians, but the cove of Salamis prevailed where the Spartans defeated the Persians in a great sea battle.
Damn, I hope this is not a sign. My bird dies a day before my exam. *shudders*
